COLLECTION 1.0 / INSTALLATION AND FIRST-PLAY CHECK Release status: published design, ready for venue fit-up and playtesting. The plans are not proof of competitive balance or a complete venue specification. All five retain 50 bunkers, mirrored ends and the same product inventory. INITIAL RELEASE 1.0 Crossroads: move both D3 bunkers away from the upper midfield brick. Switchback: widen the upper lane and lower snake-support gaps. Citadel: separate the upper support cake from the forward Dorito. Splitline: widen the lower Dorito/midfield-brick gap. Orbit: move lower Mini W supports away from the curved snake. Use the 1.0 coordinates; older versions are superseded. GEOMETRY AUDIT Four feet is a chosen movement-spacing target, not a regulatory safety standard. Distances below are between rectangular ground envelopes, excluding pairs of snake components. Dorito envelopes remain provisional 8 x 8 ft placeholders. Citadel: minimum separate-bunker bounding-box gap 4.00 ft (A-D2 / A-M2). Switchback: minimum separate-bunker bounding-box gap 4.67 ft (A-IP / A-L1). Crossroads: minimum separate-bunker bounding-box gap 4.83 ft (A-D3 / 50-U). Orbit: minimum separate-bunker bounding-box gap 5.15 ft (A-M2 / A-U2). Splitline: minimum separate-bunker bounding-box gap 4.00 ft (A-D2 / A-D3). BEFORE STAKING 1. Obtain actual Small Dorito base width/depth; the manufacturer's listing does not supply them. Replace the placeholder envelopes and recheck clearances. 2. Resolve Tall Can height: title says 6 ft, product details say 6.5 ft. 3. Confirm the venue's surface, netting, external clearances, anchoring and inflation setup with the operator and equipment suppliers. 4. Use the CSV for all 50 centers and angles. Bricks, Aztecs and Mini Ws have published width along X, as drawn. Match that orientation on both ends. 5. Inflate snake pieces, fit junctions and mirror any adjustments. Rounded fabric and anchors are not represented by the nominal envelope drawings. FIRST FIELD SESSION Walk every opening route and both sides of each bunker with the operator. Check actual muzzle-height views: a top-down plan cannot establish shot lanes. Run at least 20 trial points with teams alternating ends; include different skill levels and swap the teams so team strength is not mistaken for end bias. Log: map/version, teams, starting ends, point duration, first elimination time, first position reached, winning end, used/unused positions and stalled phases. Record positions that are unreachable, dominate several routes without a counter, or cause repeated stalls. Adjust one mirrored pair at a time, then repeat the affected scenarios. Twenty points is a practical starting sample, not statistical proof of balance. Avoid promising a target match duration until real play produces measurements.
